In Acts they talk about The Upper Room or the room upstairs, it’s the place where the Holy Spirit came to meet this congregation of people. A REVHI RETURN
As many of you know, in 2015 I took a break from school and sailed off to Hawaii as part of a year-long discipleship program. One component of the program is community service which is carried out in 1 of 2 communities - Waianae or Chinatown. I didn’t have a preference, and was placed in Waianae. I absolutely loved the people in Waianae (especially my church friends), but I have to be honest in saying that most of my days in Waianae felt confusing, tiresome and lonely. GETTING CLOSE
It’s hard to believe that I only have another week and a half left of RevHi before summer mission begins. This past month has definitely flown by.
In addition to our normal schedule within the communities this month we have had a few different events to serve at.

DESTINY’S STORY
When you join a program like Revolution Hawaii there isn’t much to prepare you for all that God is going to do in your life, or any way to express what He did do once it happens. It’s a journey that only the ones who travel it can truly understand. REV HI FINDS IT’S HOMELANI
Revolution Hawaii is expanding to Homelani, which means “heavenly home.”
Directed by Rob Noland, the Revolution Hawaii program offers mission opportunities in the Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division to Salvation Army youth 18-29 years old.
