About Me

Rob loves Jesus, his family and surfing and tries hard to keep them in that order. He serves as president of the married out of his league club due to his amazing wife, Denise. Together they have 5 beautiful children, McKenna, Riley, Shea, Parker and Hayden. Rob is involved in various ministries within The Salvation Army. One of the longest running of these is the Upper Room, a unique Sunday night service located in downtown Honolulu that he helped launch.

Rob and Denise planted the Waianae Corps in 2000 and Rob continues to pastor this unique church on the beach. Rob and Denise founded Revolution Hawaii, The USA Western Territory’s young adult discipleship program, in 2006 and serve as the directors. In 2013 Rob took over the helm at Camp Homelani and with the help of a great team, united these ministries together. Robs other passions besides surfing are fishing, freediving and pretty much anything else that has to do with the ocean.
